By installing or using Pomodoro Ledger ("the extension"), you agree to these terms. If you don't, don't use it — uninstalling removes everything stored locally. These terms sit alongside the Privacy Policy, which describes what the extension collects and who can see it.
Pomodoro Ledger is a focus timer that logs your work sessions and, if you sign in, syncs them and connects you with friends. It is a personal project offered free of charge, as-is.
Signing in is optional. If you do, you're responsible for the Google account you use and for what you write in the app.
Friends, duels, squads, and live status connect you to real people. Don't use those features to harass, threaten, demean, or spam anyone; don't attempt to access another person's account or data; and don't try to break, overload, or reverse the backend. We can suspend or remove an account that does, without notice, to protect other users.
Competitive features are meant to be motivating, not punitive. Logging fake sessions to inflate a leaderboard or win a duel isn't against the law, but it makes the feature worthless — and we may reset standings that are obviously fabricated.
The extension is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You use it at your own risk.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the author isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost time, missed deadlines, or lost opportunities arising from your use of the extension. Some jurisdictions don't allow these exclusions, in which case they apply only as far as permitted, and any liability is limited to the amount you paid for the extension — which is nothing.
This extension isn't directed at children under 13, and accounts aren't knowingly created for them. If you believe a child has signed in, email us and we'll remove the account.
These terms are governed by the laws of [your province/state and country], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute belongs in the courts located there. Nothing here takes away consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
If these terms change, this page is updated and the effective date above changes with it. Continuing to use the extension after that means you accept the new version.
